Branding & Packaging Design

Client Goals

When Guns Bar decided to launch their very own lager, “Longshot,” they came to us to design a brand that would stand out and reflect both their identity and their location. The name “Longshot” was chosen as a clever nod to the bar’s name without being overtly tied to guns, allowing it to feel fresh and distinctive. Our goal was to create a bold and contemporary design that tied the brand to Saltburn, featuring elements of the cliff and sea while subtly resembling a target

GOAL 1

Create a unique and memorable brand identity for their new lager.

GOAL 2

Ensure the design tied into the local charm of Saltburn without being overly literal.

GOAL 3

Develop versatile assets for use across tap walls, pint glasses, and promotional materials.

Our Solution

Clever Branding

We designed a bold and contemporary logo that subtly incorporates Saltburn's iconic cliff and sea in a way that also resembles a target.

Versatile Assets

Created a striking badge design for the tap wall, ensuring it would catch attention in the bar setting. We also extended the branding to include a pint glass design, keeping the look cohesive and stylish.

Local Connection

The design celebrates Saltburn’s coastal charm while maintaining a modern, minimal aesthetic, making it appealing to locals and visitors alike.

Key Outcomes

A distinctive brand that sets Longshot Lager apart, tying it to Guns Bar and its Saltburn roots without being too on-the-nose.

High-quality, versatile branding assets that bring the lager to life on the tap wall and in customers’ hands.

A fresh, bold identity that resonates with the bar’s clientele and creates a strong sense of place.
